FAQ
-
Why should I use Hempire Distributing to put CBD product on my retail store’s shelves?
-
What is CBD?CBD, or Cannabidiol, is one of over 110 naturally occurring cannabinoids and is a non-psychoactive component of the Hemp or Cannabis plant.
-
What are the benefits of CBD?Check out each one of our supplier’s product testimonial pages to find out what their CBD products are doing for consumers: - LabCanna (TenneCBD) Testimonials: https://labcanna.com/testimonials/
-
Is hemp the same as marijuana? No, hemp and marijuana are close relatives, but not the same. By definition, hemp contains no more than .3% THC - the psychoactive compound that is found in higher concentration in marijuana. By contrast, hemp naturally has higher levels of CBD, a non-psychoactive compound.
-
As a retail store owner, can I order these products directly from the CBD supplier website instead of using Hempire Distributing?"In short no. We have exclusive agreements and contracts in place with suppliers limiting the wholesale distribution of specified products to retailers within a specified distribution territory. Additionally, if you are a retail owner or in charge of purchasing for a retail location, you are going to pay drastically higher price per individual product if you buy them through each supplier’s website.
-
Will CBD get me “high”?No, CBD is a non-psychoactive compound meaning, by itself, it will not get you “high”
-
Is there an age limit for purchasing CBD products?Yes, you must be 18 years old or older to purchase all CBD products, except CBD smokables (i.e. CBD vape products, CBD cigarettes, etc…). You must be 21 years old or older to purchase and consume CBD smokable products.

Will CBD Show Up On A Drug Test? The short answer? It depends on the product. Drug tests check for a metabolite produced from THC, or Tetrahydrocannabinol. CBD is a completely different molecule and does not cause the body to produce this metabolite in meaningful amounts, therefore CBD isolate products (products which contain zero THC) by definition should not result in a positive test. Whole-plant, or full spectrum CBD products do contain a trace amount of the cannabinoid THC, less than .3% by definition. Much like the consumption of poppy seeds may lead to a positive drug test for opioids, the consumption of full spectrum CBD products may lead to a positive drug test for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is inherently present in trace amounts in hemp plants. The legal limit of THC in hemp is no more than 0.3%. If you are subject to drug testing we strongly suggest consulting your health care provider before consuming any hemp products because individual biochemistry, the potential for the conversion of cannabinoids, and the possibility of trace, but legal, amounts of THC inherent in certain hemp products are all factors to consider.
